For a supplier of an oil major, GoodCorporation was asked by the lawyers to help measure the supplierās adequate procedures to prevent corruption. Our client had self-reported, jointly with the oil major, to the UK Serious Fraud Office (SFO). As a result the directors of the company wanted to measure and demonstrate to the SFO and to its business partners that it had robust procedures in place to prevent corruption.
GoodCorporation undertook a two-week ABC adequate procedures review. The results were added to GoodCorporationās ABC benchmark and a number of graphical illustrations of the clientās performance were produced. An action plan was given to the management to allow the company to strengthen its anti-corruption programme considerably.
After a six-month interval, GoodCorporation was asked by the lawyers to re-assess the company. Considerable progress had been made and as a result a new benchmark score was obtained. These charts and the completed action plan were presented by the lawyers to the SFO as part of a āmini-monitorshipā process.
